How can I make a reservation? Do I need to make a reservation for lunch too?
We accept dinner reservation by previous day. ( except for Ukiyo Traditional Eel is by three days beforehand.) For lunch, we are not accepting reservation for normal ukiyo lunch menu except for Ukiyo premium lunch. If you make a reservation for ukiyo premium lunch, room charge will be exempted.
Can I request any non-allergic food or religious restrictions?
We do our very best to meet individual needs. Please inform us when you place your reservation.
What are there transportation options?
- From Tokyo: Tokyo-Joetsu Myoko Station (Hokuriku Shinkansen)→ Joetsu Myoko Station-Takada (EchigoTokimeki Railway, Myoko Haneuma Line for Naoetsu) [about 2 hours]
- From Nagano: Nagano- Myoko Kogen Station (Shinano Railway, Kita-Shinano Line for Myoko Kogen)→Myoko Kogen Station- Takada (Echigo Tokimeki Railway, Myoko Haneuma Line for Naoetsu) [about 1.5 hours]
- From Kanazawa: Kanazawa- Joetsu Myoko Station (Joetsu Shinkansen)→ Joetsu Myoko Station- Takada (Echigo Tokimeki Railway, Myoko Haneuma Line for Naoetsu) [about 2 hours]
- From Niigata: Niigata- Naoetsu (Shinetsu Honsen Line for Naoetsu) →Naoetsu- Takada (Echigo Tokimeki Railway, Myoko Haneuma Line for Arai) [about 2 hours]
- From Nagoya: Nagoya- Tokyo (Tokaido Shinkansen) →Tokyo-Joetsu Myoko Station (Hokuriku Shinkansen)→ Joetsu Myoko Station-Takada (EchigoTokimeki Railway, Myoko Haneuma Line for Naoetsu) [about 3 hours]

We accept VISA and Master Card.
What is Ukiyo Club membership?
If you are a member, you can get a point every 30 yen. We offer special discounts for a member of Ukiyo Club such as ￥2,000 off birthday coupon (currently only for domestic members.) Membership fee is free. Please ask us if you are interested in!
Is there a parking lot?
Yes, there is a parking which about 30 cars can fit behind Ukiyo.
Can we use fork, knife and spoon for dining?
For sure you can. If you have a difficulty with using chopsticks, feel free to ask us for substitutes. We happily bring you a fork, knife and spoon.
I would like to look around the building. Is there any tour?
By your request, a staff can show you around the building. There are a few staffs who can speak English.
What is the dinner menu like?
We offer dinner course up to your budget. Usually includes appetizer, soup, sashimi, grilled dish, shimmered dish, steamed dish, fried dish, and staple although those may vary flexibly due to seasonally and availability of products. let us know your specific preference.
Are there kids menu?
We only serve kid's menu with advance notice for event, ceremony or funeral. Please make contact when you take child to Ukiyo.
Can we bring food or beverage?
Please refrain from bringing any foods or drinks here.
